Retirement Investment Accounts (Wespath)
Every active pastor and qualifying church employee whose contributions have been processed has a retirement investment account held directly for each participant by Wespath Benefits and Investments. No funds are now received or processed by the DRS. Funds are process through the Episcopal District directly to Wespath who provides all services directly to the participant. (See the link to Wespath for specific details and benefits of the investment account.) The DRS continues to provide operational support to Wespath and to the processing episcopal districts.
Group Life Insurance (Principal Life Insurance)
Every active pastor and spouse whose premiums are up to date is insured by the AMEC Group Life insurance policy held by the AMEC through the DRS. Each pastor is insured for $30,000.00 and each spouse for $10,000.00. specific details and other benefits are available through the Group Life insurance link.
